Office Safety Precautions in Effect During the Pandemic and Moving Forward

Healing Arts North, PLLC is taking the following precautions to protect our clients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

There are multiple points of entry into the AHM Center. As it is difficult to disinfect those door handles regularly, Healing Arts North, PLLC encourages each client to wash and/or disinfect after touching those surfaces.

    COVID-19

Therapy works best when it is regularly scheduled and attended. However, it is also important that you and your therapist remain healthy.

    Symptom Self-Screen

Self-screen before coming to a therapy appointment for any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Anyone can have mild to severe symptoms. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

Fever or chills (greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit)

    Cough

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

    Fatigue

    Muscle or body aches

    Headache

New loss of taste or smell

    Sore throat

    Congestion or runny nose

    Nausea or vomiting

    Diarrhea

Known close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19

    Precautions

There are multiple points of entry into the AHM Center. As it is difficult to disinfect those door handles regularly, Healing Arts North, PLLC encourages each client to wash and/or disinfect after touching those surfaces.

AHM Center requires face masks in all public areas of the facility. Healing Arts North, PLLC requires face masks for sessions scheduled within 10 days of COVID-19 symptoms subsiding (from the point they stopped entirely), or known direct contact with someone confirmed to have the virus.

The waiting area for Healing Arts North, PLLC is outside Suite 105, on the floral bench. Please arrive five minutes before your scheduled appointment time and the therapist will come out in the hallway to get you for your session.

Staff and Therapists will be taking recommended precautions to prevent transmission of any possible infections. This includes hand washing, social distancing, disinfecting counseling offices after each session, and staying home if not feeling well.

Clients will need to stay home and reschedule if they are not feeling well. Clients will be required to wear a mask for 10 days post-recovery from COVID-19, as defined as a resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath) and nasal congestion; or if directly exposed to someone positively confirmed to have COVID-19.

We encourage our clients to maintain an appropriate distance from therapists and other visitors to the AHM Center.

As needed, we can cancel, reschedule, or move to a virtual session. Do not come into the office or waiting room. This policy is to keep you, your community, and your therapist healthy.
